For all information, questions or issues regarding the shipping, warranty or service of your mobility scooter please contact Independently Yours Medical Supply directly. Independently Yours will always speak with the manufacture directly on your behalf to make service, repair or warranty issues as easy as possible.

Free Local Delivery and Set Up for Mobility Scooter Purchases from Independently Yours Medical Supply Stores. For our local Colorado residents, Independently Yours Medical Supply has all of our mobility scooters in stock at our local medical supply store locations. Each mobility scooter purchased will be unpackaged, put together, charged and delivered directly to your home by one of our in-house delivery drivers.

 $99 Standard Ground Shipping on all power mobility scooter purchases within the United States mainland.

Mobility scooters shipping via free standard ground will be delivered via Freight Carrier. Mobility scooter purchases are typically delivered to your home 6-10 business days from the date of purchase. We will email you the direct tracking link and # once your order has shipped. The freight carrier will call you to arrange a specific delivery time once the scooter is at their facility in your area. (The freight carriers will not unbox or assemble the scooter for you)

Mobility Scooter Warranty

All mobility scooter purchases include a manufacturer’s warranty regarding the FRAME, DRIVETRAIN, ELECTRONICS, and BATTERY. If there is a question, concern or issue regarding service or warranty please contact us directly and we will speak with the manufacturer on your behalf. Each of the warranties for each mobility scooter are listed below.

 

Warranty for Golden Technologies Mobility Scooters

Golden Technologies has provided information throughout the owner’s manual in regards to proper usage and care of your scooter.
Failure to adhere to this information will void the warranty of the scooter, its parts and the batteries supplied by Golden Technologies.

The following warranty is granted only to the INITIAL Consumer who has purchased our product and commences on the Date of Purchase by the Consumer from an Authorized Golden Technologies’ Provider.

 Buzzaround XL (3 & 4 Wheel) | Buzzaround EX ( 3 & 4 Wheel) | Companion | Buzzaround Carry-On Scooter

Frame: Lifetime

For the life of the scooter, from the date of purchase from an authorized Golden Technologies’ dealer, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will repair or replace at our option any of the following structural frame components found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative: Steel Frame, Frame Welds, Tiller Frame, Front Fork, Seat Post.

Drive Train: 2 Years

For the period of two years from the date of purchase, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will repair or replace at our option with any new or reconditioned components any of the following drive train components found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative: Transaxle, Motor/Brake Assembly (electrical funtion only).

Note: An increase in operating noise of the transaxle DOES NOT constitute a defect. With normal wear and tear, operating noise is expected to increase.

Electronics: 2 Years

For the period of two years from the date of purchase, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will repair or replace at our option any of the following electronic assemblies found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative: Electronic Controller, Battery Charger, Dash Assembly, Potentiometer Assembly, Wire Harness(es).

Batteries: 1 Year

For the period of one year from the date of purchase, in the event of defective materials or workmanship, Golden Technologies will replace the batteries supplied by Golden Technologies if found to be defective by an authorized Golden Technologies representative.

 

Warranty for Pride Mobility Scooters

GoGo Elite Traveler (3 & 4 Wheel) | Pride Revo 2.0 (3 & 4 Wheel)

Frame: Limited Lifetime

For the lifetime of your product from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship: Structural Frame Components, including: Main Frame – Fork – Seat Post – Tiller Frame

Drive Train & Electronics: 2 Years

For two (2) years from the date of purchase, Pride will repair or replace at our option to the original purchaser, free of charge, any of the following parts found upon examination by an authorized representative of Pride to be defective in material and/or workmanship: Transaxle – Brake – Bushings – Bearings – Motor Break (Electronic Function Only).

Electronic components under the 2 year warranty include: Electronic Controllers – Chargers – Harnesses – and Other Electrical Assemblies

Batteries: 6 Months

Golden Technologies

Warranty Exclusions:
Golden Technologies does not provide warranty on any of the following items which may require replacement due to the normal wear and tear of day to day usage:
 Tires and Tubes
 ABS Plastic Shrouds
 Armrest Pads
 Motor Brushes
 Bulbs/Fuses
 Brake Pads
 Upholstery

This warranty also excludes the following:
 Loss or theft of components (ie: keys, baskets, etc.)
 Damage caused by:
 Battery fluid spillage or leakage
 Abuse, misuse, accident or negligence.
 Improper operation, maintenance or storage.
 Commercial use or use other than normal.
 Repairs and/or modifications made to any part without the specific consent of Golden Technologies.
 Exceeding the specified weight capacity of the unit.
 Accessories other than those supplied or approved by Golden Technologies.
 Failure to adhere to the product instructions
 Acts of Nature, such as lightning strikes, earthquakes, etc……
 Circumstances beyond the control of Golden Technologies.
 ANY PARTS ALTERED OR REPAIRED BY UNAUTHORIZED PERSON.

Warranty Service:
Warranty Service must be performed by an authorized Golden Technologies representative. Golden Technologies reserves the right to replace warranted part(s) with refurbished or new part(s) at our discretion.
All labor charges, service calls, transportation costs or any other charge(s) associated with the installation of any warranted part(s) are the responsibility of the consumer. Warranty is for the replacement of the parts only and does not include freight for the replacement parts. Consumers are not to return any item(s) to Golden Technologies without prior written authorization. Any damages incurred while warranted part(s) are in transport are the sole responsibility of the consumer.

There is no other express warranty:

Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are excluded.
Liabilities for consequential damages are excluded. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may also have other rights which may vary from state to state.

Pride Mobility

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS This warranty does not extend to those items which may require replacement due to normal wear and tear.

•ABS Plastic Shrouds

•Motor Brushes

•Upholstery and Seating

•Brake Pads

•Tires and Tubes

•Fuses/Bulbs

•Circumstances beyond the control of Pride

•Labor, service calls, shipping, and other charges incurred for repair of the product, unless specifically authorized, IN ADVANCE, by Pride Mobility Products

•Repairs and/or modifications made to any part without specific consent from Pride

 

Exclusions also include components with damage or failure caused by:

•Contamination

•Abuse, misuse, accident, or negligence

•Battery fluid spillage or leakage

•Use other than normal design specifications

•Improper operation, maintenance, or storage

 

NOTE: If there is an increase in the operational noise level in the transaxle, the warranty does not apply. An increase in operational noise level usually occurs due to abusive and excessive strain on the scooter.

NOTE: Gradual deterioration in performance because the battery has been left in a discharged state, left in cold conditions for an extended period of time, or worn out through heavy use is not covered.

Mobility Scooter Service

Colorado Customers: Free Lifetime Service

If you are the original owner and purchased a mobility scooter from Independently Yours Medical Supplies, we will provide free life time service on your mobility scooter. Free service refers to time and labor to repair or examine your scooter. Customers are responsible for cost of parts (if needed) outside of the warranty, and will still receive free service.
